Is online consultation suitable?

Online consultation may be appropriate for many non-emergency concerns. Suitability is decided individually; some situations require physical examination, investigations, local support, or urgent in-person care.

No. Any diagnosis, prescription, investigation, or referral depends on the individual clinical assessment and what is medically appropriate.

What should I keep ready?

If available, keep previous prescriptions, reports, a current medicine list, and a short note of your main concerns. Join from a quiet, private place.

Can a family member join?

A family member may join when appropriate and with the patient’s agreement, especially when additional history or support is useful.
